a life in portraits, pages & light
I was born and raised in Seattle and have called Washington State home my whole life. I’m proudly Vietnamese, and my family’s stories, resilience, and traditions shape so much of the way I move through the world and make art.
I grew up attending Catholic schools and hold a deep love for the Jesuit community and its call to seek meaning, justice, and tenderness in all things. It’s important to me to build spaces that are welcoming, affirming, and safe — I’m proud to support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in both my personal life and creative work.
When I’m not painting or writing, you’ll probably find me somewhere outside. I’m an avid backpacker, happiest when my boots are dusty and the trail feels endless. I also have an inflatable paddle board that I’m determined to bring to as many lakes, bays, and secret swimming spots in the Pacific Northwest as possible.
I’m a huge movie nerd and can spend hours down an IMDb trivia rabbit hole. I’m constantly curating Spotify playlists for every mood, season, and imaginary road trip. At home, I share life with my partner Warren and our two cats, Stella and Cornelius — the best studio assistants a person could ask for.

“The rocky heights, the smooth meadows, the ardent body of the colt and man, they all belong to the same family.”
I live, explore, and create on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Duwamish, Suquamish, Puyallup, and Muckleshoot tribes. These lands have been cared for and sustained by Indigenous communities since time immemorial.
I acknowledge the history of displacement, erasure, and violence against Indigenous peoples, and I recognize the ongoing relationship these communities maintain with the land today. I am committed to learning, listening, and supporting Indigenous voices, sovereignty, and stewardship in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
